Graphicly Go Bye Bye

Well, folks, Graphicly is gone.

Long time readers will recognize that this is in fact the second digital publisher to collapse beneath us. We’re not getting fat, promise–it’s just that all the lead and fake blood is heavy.

I am not sure what this means for those of you who have bought digital editions of the book. Hopefully you will not find that it has been yanked from our device. The listings on amazon are defunct at this time, and I presume that goes for every other platform to which Graphicly distributed.

But all is not lost! ComiXology has agreed to take us on, and starting this Wednesday, US time, McBlack will be available for all of your devices from them and whatever other places will have us.

This means that you will no longer be able to find the digital books available on amazon or in the iBookstore, but you will be able to see them all together in ComiXology’s app and on their website. Since Amazon now owns ComiXology I expect we will be seeing tighter integration there soon, and in the meantime I will be working to get the books relisted across the other platforms.

One last note. I have disabled the webcomic version of the books on this site. The new digital versions are super cheap–$0.99 per issue–and since I do not update it unless there is a new comic it seems counterproductive to continue to give it away for free. I hope you’ll understand and I hope you’ll support us with your ninety-nine cents so we can continue to bring you the metafictional action and smart-aleckry you all know and love.

Cheerio!
